Small Group Seminars

Psyche and the Sacred 2017 Series

These seminars began in January 2016 and have included a discussion of personal spiritual experiences, dream work facilitated by Dr. Corbett, and lecture on topics such as: a depth psychological approach to suffering and evil, the religious function of the psyche, the psychology of forgiveness, and the Enneagram as a path to self-understanding and self-inquiry.

The current seminars will be hosted in a private home and limited to ten participants. In this intimate sanctuary, participants will have an opportunity to explore the individual's experience of the sacred and his or her personal spirituality in the context of depth psychology.  The depth psychological approach to the sacred focuses on revelation by means of dreams, synchronistic events, creativity, relationships, the earth, the body, sacred places, and attention to our complexes.  The program will be facilitated by Dr. Lionel Corbett, Jungian analyst and author.

The program will meet for one evening lecture and two-day intensive seminars occurring approximately once every month. Individuals are encouraged, but not required to participate in the entire series. These seminars are not intended to be a psychotherapy program and are not designed for individuals who are emotionally vulnerable. Cost of the small group seminars include accompanying Friday evening lectures. Location of the small group seminars will be given at time of registration.
